Dayle and Virginia Brown

Hi!  Welcome to the community site for the family of Dayle and Virginia Brown! 

So, the plan is this: let's share some memories of Grandma and Grandpa.  I'm going to start posting some specific questions to get the discussions started.  Post what you remember.   I think reading what other people recall will help us all remember things we'd forgotten.   I also think that there are a lot of stories about Grandma, Grandpa and their kids that not everyone knows.  I want to share those!

I know that most of you are on Facebook, so I totally tried it out....and it totally sucked.  I couldn't get the community site feature to do what I wanted.  After several tense minutes of intensifying frustration, I gave up.  What can you do?

In the meantime, I don't have a scanner yet...but I'm in the process of acquiring one ASAP!  I'll start posting photographs soon(ish).

Please help me compile memories for the family.  The long term goal of this site is to make a book about Grandma and Grandpa Brown - starting with their romance and marriage and moving on to their kids and grandchildren.

I don't have a copy of the program right now, but would like to compile the photos and memories in Microsoft Publisher.  I can arrange for printing the book as a fundraiser for the reunion, or I can post it online for free download by the family and everyone can print their own copies.

Of course, I'll upload all of the photos I'm given copies of.  That way, you print copies of anything you want.

Would you please help me with this project?  I've had the idea for a while and am just now realizing that if I don't start now, I'm never going to.
