| Byron had never had Christmas. His impression of the holidays was that "the ladies in black bring you a turkey." Bruce told Byron that Santa would come and bring him so many presents that they would reach the ceiling. Hence, the large tower of present stacked in the background of this picture. Byron had also never heard of the tooth fairy. When Byron lost a tooth, the "Brown Phantom" (Bruce and Barbara) left .50 cents under his pillow. When he came upstairs the next morning and announced that the tooth fairy had come, grandma said, "you're lying." Upset, Byron responded, "I don't lie."
