Okay, so if you went to the reunion, you know that we watched a DVD of photos from the life of Robert Dayle Brown (August 22, 1921- June 10, 1999) and Helen Virginia McWhirter Brown (February 4, 1920).
I borrowed a copy of the disc from my mom so I could the post all of the photos online....the thing is...it's a DVD. There isn't a JPEG index or any way to retrieve the photos. All of the slides are ones that my mom still has, but they are not in my physical possession at preset so I have done the next best thing. I am making print-screens of the entire slideshow one at a time. Sheesh!
The quality is not great.
Also, I can't glean any info from the slides (likes names and dates) because I don't actually have the slides.
Well, what can you do? Regardless, I persevere. Most likely, I'll wind up borrowing all of the slides and just re-scanning everything. In the meantime, here are 30 screen shots for your enjoyment.
:)
Update: Okay. I'm plugging away. I've posted over half of the photos on the DVD. I tried to keep them in order and in sets of ten. I did move some photos around to keep them with other similar photos.
ReplyDeleteI finish posting these and then I'll borrow the box of original slides from my mom and post any dates or notes written on the outside of the slides.
Update: I've added all of the photos from the DVD. I'll add captions if there are any.
